In the Models page, click New Model.
Type in a name for your new model.
Select the sentiment configuration you want to use.
- Decide whether you want to automatically generate attributes for uncaptured verbatim for your model.
- Decide whether you want to see Uncategorized Comments as a category in your report.
- Click Create Model.
- Click Add Category.
- Type the category name into the field, then press Enter or click Create.
The options available to you are in the drop-down list. You will either have the choice of the "Confirmit English DL v2" sentiment configuration or perhaps a configuration that has been adjusted for your business. If in doubt, use the "Confirmit English DL v2 configuration" and speak to your Account Manager if you feel the sentiment needs some adjustment.
Tip: The sentiment configuration refers to the settings and parameters that define how the system analyzes and interprets sentiment within text data. This configuration determines how the model identifies and categorizes sentiments—such as positive, negative, or neutral—in the data it processes.
This helps to find other attributes mentioned in the comments for a category or sub-category (go to Uncaptured Attribute for more information). You can also switch this on later, in the Overview section of your model.
This shows you all the comments that have not beencaptured by your categorization model, so could help you to understand any emerging topics or whether you need to perform some maintenance on your model. You can also switch this on later, in the Overview section of your model.
The model is created and given a model ID number, and the Add Category overlay opens.
You can now create your expression for this category or choose to create a sub-category if you want to refine your model further. If this category is to be a leaf node - the last level in the category hierarchy before you add attributes - then enter the required expression in this overlay.
Important: To avoid disappointment, save your work at regular intervals and ensure you save before you leave Model Builder unattended (go to Inactive-Screen Lock for more information).
